introducing populi

Populi is our Student Management System which coordinates all interactive functions between the school and student. All student records, registration for classes, course plans for graduation, grades, transcript requests, email communications, and financial payment system is available on Populi.  It also delivers and coordinates our entire distance education program.

Every student taking college-level classes participates and is required to pay a technology fee each quarter (see the Fees page), regardless of how many classes they are taking. After a student enrolls, they will be issued a username for Populi and can then create their own password.  All student registration is done online using Populi at the beginning of each quarter.

Register for a Distance Class

All courses in the catalog are available to be taken as distance courses at any time. These courses will be online with pre-recorded lectures. There will be instructor interaction and graded homework. Register in Populi.

Register for a Live Class

Use the same Tutorial as above for “Register for a Distance Class” but at Step #4 choose a LIVE term. There will be a much shorter selection of classes.

Pay a Bill

Log into Populi. Select “My profile” tab.  Select “Financial” tab.  Select “Dashboard” tab. Select “Make a payment” (on the right-hand side of your screen). Your tuition and fees are due at the beginning of the quarter. Late Payment fees may be applied to late unpaid invoices (see Fees page). Contact billing@ncbc.net with any questions.

Contact your instructor

Make a plan to graduate

Login to Populi. Under the “My Profile” tab and “Student” tab, there is information on your coursework. There are two subtabs “Transcripts” and “Degree Audit” that provide extra information. Your advisor will be listed in the right hand side and you can email them any questions.

Order Transcripts

Login to Populi. Go to “My Profile” tab. Then go to the “Transcript” tab. Each transcript costs a fee (see the Fees page). Please have ready the address where you would like the transcript emailed (or possibly mailed).
