    Course Description:

    Judah has just returned from 70 years of Babylonian captivity. They must now build and start again, while in the midst of various adversaries and challenges.  How did they do it, and what can we learn from their example?  The course concludes with the amazing story of Esther who put it all on the line for her people, Israel!  Dr. Griffiths is a highly respected pastor and teacher in the Bay Area, known for his compassionate heart and prophetic understanding.


    Hermeneutics

    Course Description:

    Hermeneutics is the science of biblical interpretation.  The student will learn the generally accepted principles that govern how to interpret a particular scripture.  Some of these principles include: the law of first mention, the law of context, the comparative principle, the cultural, historical, and language gaps. Time will also be devoted to understand how the Bible was written, along with the strengths and weaknesses of the most frequently used Bible translations.


    The Life of Christ, Part 1

    Course Description: 

    This verse-by-verse study of the four Gospels provides a unique glimpse into the ministry and nature of Christ.  The student will become familiar with important historical customs of the day, prophetic fulfilments, and spiritual applications. The subject material covers the first half of Jesus 3.5 year ministry.  Pastor Mortara is a gifted teacher and serves as the lead pastor  of Faith Fellowship in San Leandro.

    "Our Inheritance"

    Course Description:

    This course is all about laying hold of our personal inheritance in Christ.  Jesus sent Paul to “open our eyes that we might receive forgiveness of sin and our inheritance.”  This entire course will help us to better understand what rightfully belongs to each of us in the realms of: physical and mental healing, power to overcome our carnal nature, provisions of wisdom and sustenance, and the salvation and welfare of our loved ones.  

     

    Too many Christians have been unable to believe for God’s best because they don’t understand the finer details of the promise along with any stipulations required to enact the promise.
